Monthly Immunization Clinics
A monthly immunization clinic is held the third Thursday of each month (except January and December) from 1:00-5:00 pm at Steele County Public Health, 635 Florence Avenue in Owatonna. Immunizations are available to children birth through 18 years (and some adults) who qualify for the state subsidized vaccine.
Immunizations include: T-dap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Td, DTaP, Polio, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hib, Pneumococcal (PCV13), Meningococcal (MCV4), Rotavirus, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Hepatitis A and B, Varicella (chicken pox) and seasonal influenza. Children under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Please call ahead to see if you or your child qualify for subsidized vaccines. Immunizations are available to children who are on a MN health plan and children & adults who have private insurance without full vaccine coverage or who are not covered by insurance at all. A small administration fee per immunization is suggested, but no one is turned away for inability to pay. IMMUNIZATION RECORD MUST BE PRESENTED BEFORE ANY IMMUNIZATIONS ARE GIVEN.

Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
Tuberculin skin tests (Mantoux) are done Monday - Wednesday and most Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. TSTs are not given on Thursdays or on Fridays preceding a Monday holiday. There is a fee of $43.00 cash or check, and recipient must be able to return in 2-3 days for reading of the skin test.
