Monthly Immunization Clinics
A monthly immunization clinic is held the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 1:00-5:30 pm at Steele Co. Public Health, 635 Florence Ave, Owatonna. Immunizations are available to children birth through 18 years (and some adults) who qualify for the state subsidized vaccine.
Immunizations include: T-dap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Td, DTaP, Polio, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hib, Pneumococcal (PCV13), Meningococcal (MCV4), Rotavirus, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV4), Hepatitis A and B, Varicella (chicken pox) and seasonal influenza. Children under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Please call ahead to see if you or your child qualify for subsidized vaccines. Immunizations are available to individuals who are on a state health insurance plan, uninsured, or have private insurance but no vaccine coverage. A small administration fee per immunization is suggested, but no one is turned away for inability to pay. IMMUNIZATION RECORD MUST BE PRESENTED BEFORE ANY IMMUNIZATIONS ARE GIVEN.

Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
Tuberculin skin tests (Mantoux) are done Monday - Wednesday and most Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. TSTs are not given on Thursdays, or on a Friday preceding a Monday holiday. There is a $45.00 fee made payable by cash or a check written to SCPH. The recipient must be able to return to Steele County Public Health in 2-3 days for reading of the skin test.
