There is also support for both custodial and non-custodial parents in the establishment and enforcement of child support, child care and medical support. The Steele County Veteran's Services Office is here to assist the approximately 4000 veterans in Steele County as well as their families, surviving spouses and dependent children. Every year the rules and regulations governing veterans' benefits become more complex and intimidating. We can advise these individuals of the benefits they may be eligible for in the form of Federal Veterans Benefits and State of Minnesota Veterans Benefits, we will complete the forms necessary to obtain these benefits, assist in obtaining the documentation necessary to support a claim for benefits, make certain the benefits the individual is entitled to are awarded and assist the individual to continue receiving the benefit once it has been awarded.
