In addition to all patrol officer responsibilities, the Sergeants provide assistance in the supervision of the uniformed Patrol Deputies.

Their duties include: scheduling, assignment of specific details/duties, inspection of equipment / squads / deputy appearance, evaluations, recommends changes / additions and then is responsible to ensure office policies and procedures are followed, investigate complaints against the uniformed Patrol Deputies, coordinate the necessary in-house training that is required by P.O.S.T. and review the daily activity reports.
