The Vital Statistics Division is located in the Recorders Office at the Administration Center. Marriage, death, and birth certificates are issued in this office, as well as passport and marriage applications. Credentials recorded include Notary Public and Ordination credentials.

Minnesota Birth Record Application - Certified Birth Certificate
$26.00 MUST be paid with cash or money order if applying in person
(No Credit Cards or Checks accepted)
Minnesota Death Record Application - Certified Death Certificate
Marriage Licenses:
Both applicants must be at the office no later than 4:30 p.m.
Search marriage records statewide on the MN Official Marriage System (MOMS)
Passport Information Fees:
Applicant must be at the office no later than 4:15 p.m.
