Monthly Immunization Clinics
A monthly immunization clinic is held the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 1:00-6:00 pm at Steele Co. Public Health, 635 Florence Ave, Owatonna. Immunizations are available to children birth-18 years (and some adults) who qualify for the state subsidized vaccine. Immunizations include: Td (Tetanus, Diphtheria), DTaP, T-dap, Polio, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hib, Pneumococcal (PCV7), Meningococcal (MCV4), Rotavirus, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Pediatric Hepatitis A and B, Varicella (Chicken pox) and seasonal influenza. Children under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Please call ahead to see if your child qualifies. Immunizations are available to individuals who are uninsured, have private insurance but no vaccine coverage, or are on a state health insurance plan. A small administration fee per immunization is suggested, but no one is turned away for inability to pay. IMMUNIZATION RECORD MUST BE PRESENTED BEFORE ANY IMMUNIZATIONS ARE GIVEN.

Tuberculosis Screening
The skin test (mantoux) is done Monday - Wednesday and Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. There is a fee of $26.00 cash or check, and recipient must be able to return in 2-3 days for reading of skin test. Mantouxs are not given on Thursdays.
