CORRECTIONAL OFFICER

Steele County Detention Center is taking applications for full-time male/female Corrections Officers.  Duties & responsibilities include care and control of inmates, as well as maintaining records and reports.  Assignments are performed according to established policies and procedures.  Qualifications:  high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.  Starting hourly rate is $15.60, plus benefits. Ability to pass a drug test is a pre-requisite of employment.

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE - FAMILY HEALTH DIVISION

Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking a full time Public Health Nurse for the Family Health Division.  Responsibilities shall include working with individuals and families in the home and clinic setting.  The Public Health Nurse shall also work with community organizations to identify and address community health problems that impact children and families in SteeleCounty.  Requires current MN RN license, valid MN driver’s license, knowledge of public health principles, and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Baccalaureate degree with PHN certification required and Maternal/Child Health experience preferred.  Starting wage range is Grade 29,

$20.96 - $22.99 an hour, plus benefits.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST STEELE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH

Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking to contract with a Registered Physical Therapist.  Responsibilities include working with adult clients in their homes.  Requires current MN physical therapy licensure and a valid MN driver’s license.  Home care experience preferred but not required.  More information may be obtained by calling Steele County Public Health at (507)444-7650.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled and may be sent to Steele County Public Health, 635 Florence Ave., Owatonna, MN. 55060.
