NETWORK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Steele County’s Information Technology Department is expanding and seeking two full-time Network Support Technicians. Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, the Network Support Technician will perform a wide variety of complex and routine functions including: supporting end users by troubleshooting, resolving issues and providing training, monitoring and ensuring the reliability and security of systems and data, monitoring and maintaining server infrastructure and network operating systems, maintaining and supporting specialized equipment and technology utilized by law enforcement, monitoring, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all hardware including servers and switches, and providing helpdesk service.
The minimum education requirement to apply for this position is an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Science, or closely related field. A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in providing hardware, software, network and technology support, or an equivalent combination of additional education and experience to demonstrate the ability to the perform the work are required. A valid MN driver’s license is required.
The position is a Grade 23 with a hiring range of $37,211 - $39,894 annually, plus benefits. A completed application, resume, and cover letter are required. HOME HEALTH AIDE-PT
Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking a part-time Home Health Aid for the Adult Health Division. Responsibilities include working with individuals and families in the clients’ home providing personal care activities and other duties as assigned. The position requires certification as an HHA, valid MN driver’s license, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position is part-time up to 19 hours/week (scheduled on an as needed basis); starting wage is $11.68 to $12.51 per hour.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST STEELE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking to contract with a Registered Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include working with adult clients in their homes. ARENA AND PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER - Part Time
The Steele County Four Seasons/Park and Rec Department has openings for part time arena and park maintenance workers. The work involves responsibility for performing a variety of tasks requiring some skill and knowledge acquired through work experience. Assignments frequently include the use of standard or specialized hand tools, ability to operate light equipment, and the ability to associate with the general public. Work includes setting up and maintaining an ice sheet, care and maintenance of arena and other recreational areas.
Requirements for this position are a High School diploma and a valid driver’s license. Desired qualification is experience in maintenance of park and recreational facilities and ice arena.

REGISTERED NURSE or SOCIAL WORKER-HUMAN SERVICES
Steele County Human Services has available one full-time opening for a Social Worker working in the Senior Service Unit within the Adult Services division. This exciting opportunity allows the social worker to participate on an integrated team of social workers, nurses and care coordinators, to provide and coordinate social services and healthcare services for seniors.
Duties include: completing risk assessments and Long-Term Care Consultations /MnChoices Assessments; assessing needs of individuals and their caregivers/families; providing case management for persons on the Elderly Waiver (EW) or Alternative Care Grant (AC); writing care plans; assisting with obtaining services and needed healthcare and monitoring services. Worker would be expected to provide recommendations for services as well as information about community resources and the EW/AC programs. Workers will document time through case notes in SSIS and will need to understand and navigate through the MMIS system. Work week consists of 40 hours Monday through Friday.
Required qualifications: Must be registered with the MN Merit System. Current Minnesota licensure as a registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related Human Services Field. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications: Current Minnesota licensure as a bachelor level registered nurse or certification as a public health nurse in Minnesota and one year experience in community-based home care or long term care or Master’s Degree in a Human Services related field. Experience in working with the elderly and/or experience with the waiver programs.
