Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking a part-time Home Health Aid for the Adult Health Division. Responsibilities include working with individuals and families in the clients’ home providing personal care activities and other duties as assigned. The position requires certification as an HHA, valid MN driver’s license, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position is part-time up to 19 hours/week (scheduled on an as needed basis); starting wage is $11.68 to $12.51 per hour.

ARENA AND PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER - Part Time
The Steele County Four Seasons/Park and Rec Department has openings for part time arena and park maintenance workers. The work involves responsibility for performing a variety of tasks requiring some skill and knowledge acquired through work experience. Assignments frequently include the use of standard or specialized hand tools, ability to operate light equipment, and the ability to associate with the general public. Work includes setting up and maintaining an ice sheet, care and maintenance of arena and other recreational areas.
Requirements for this position are a High School diploma and a valid driver’s license. Desired qualification is experience in maintenance of park and recreational facilities and ice arena.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Steele County's Human Resources Department is expaning and seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. Under the direction of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will perform a wide variety of complex and routine functions including benefits administration, recruitment and hiring, leave administration, compensation administration, safety program tracking, training record keeping, technology utilization, maintaining HRIS system information, and serving as the front-line HR contact to employees and the public.
The minimum education requirement to apply for this position is an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Personnel, Business or closely related field. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, personnel, payroll and/or benefits administration or an equivalent combination of additional education and experience to demonstrate the ability to the perform the work are required. Experience working in public sector human resources preferred. A valid MN driver’s license is required.
The position is a Grade 23 with a wage range of $34,268 - $48,792 annually, plus benefits. This position is a non-unit, confidential position. CARE PROGRAM CASE MANAGER PT - DETENTION CENTER
Steele County Detention Center has an opening for a part-time CARE Program Case Manager. The CARE Program Case Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating the CARE Program and related services, service providers and programs that might be available to discharged inmates to assist and aide in their transition back into the community. Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field of study. Requires a valid MN driver’s license.
