The Steele County Highway Department is seeking back-up snow plow operators for the County Highway system for the winter of 2015. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment before use; snow and ice removal on roadways, and comply with DOT safety rules and regulations. CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS - DETENTION CENTER
Steele County Detention Center is taking applications for Corrections Officers to fulfill a Department of Corrections (DOC) contract. These positions are full-time and contingent on the DOC contract. The positions involve the care and control of inmates (male/female) in the Steele County Detention Center. The employee is responsible for making decisions based on Department of Corrections Rules and Department Policies and Procedures. Assignments are performed according to established policies and procedures.

HOME HEALTH AIDE-PT
Steele County Public Health Nursing Service is seeking a part-time Home Health Aid for the Adult Health Division. Responsibilities include working with individuals and families in the clients’ home providing personal care activities and other duties as assigned. The position requires certification as an HHA, valid MN driver’s license, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position is part-time up to 19 hours/week (scheduled on an as needed basis); starting wage is $11.68 to $12.51 per hour.
